There is very little seating in there. So definitely be prepared to wait or order take out. But it's worth the wait. Wow the food is amazing. Smells delicious in there. Don't be fooled by the small bowl of curry, it is actually a lot of food!! Got the lamb tikki masala. So much flavor and the lamb was incredibly tender. Palak paneer was also delicious, it was the first time I've ever had paneer and I was impressed for sure. One order of Basmati rice was plenty for two people, we even had leftover. And one order of garlic naan was also plenty for two people. Dip the naan in the curry for excellent flavor! Staff was nice.
Great food. Doesn't get better then this! Can't wait to go back. Ambiance a little lacking but the food makes up for it!
Had a wonderful Masala meal at Flavors of India in Gilbert. Friendly family owns this small restaurant and some one knows northern Indian cooking! Rice was excellent for soaking up the Masala! They have a spiciness scale from 1 (mild) to 10 (very hot!) 3 or 4 was still pretty mild and 7 was hot but not cray cray! Service was good...we had tickets for the comedy club across the street and made it with time to spare! Oh, try the garlic Naan for an appetizer! It was tasty!
Tried this place for the first time today and had a great experience! Customer service was amazing they were so sweet and helpful and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS and piping hot when it came out. You can tell it's going to be good as you walk up to the door it smells amazing before you even get inside! For sure will be coming back.
My husband and I had planned to check out another Indian restaurant but it was closed. So we decided to check out this place instead.
When we pulled up, I was initially disappointed because it appeared to be strictly take out and I wanted table service. Once we were inside we saw that they have a few tables. So we decided to give it a shot.
I'm so glad that we did. The food is amazing. We ordered the aloo gobi and Chicken Tikka Masala with plain Naan. We also had Gulab Jamun for dessert. Sometimes Indian food can be a little "one note". That certainly was not the case. The Tikka Masala was far and away the best we've ever had. I don't know how to describe their food except to say that it tastes like it's made with love.
The service is equally as good as the food. It's a family owned establishment and we felt that we were welcomed in and that they wanted to certain we were satisfied with the service and enjoyed the food.
We plan to be regulars and are looking forward to our next visit.
This place is fantastic. Great portions. Great flavor. No frills. Genuine friendly service. Very generous and kind people. We love to come here, and when people visit from out of town, we take them here. It's a staple. I cannot recommend this place enough.
The naan is the best we've ever had.
Indoor dining is tight and limited, but it just feels like a true mom & pop shop, so I dig it.
Had take out from here, and we were definitely impressed. We ordered the yellow dhaal (no spice) with rice (extra but a good portion size), veg masala, chicken korma, garlic Naan.
Our toddler enjoyed the yellow dhaal and rice , which is rare that she would eat it anywhere. So definitely a win in our book.
Our favorite was the veg masala. The gravy was really tasty! The chicken korma was good. We probably should have ordered it spicy for us, too!
I'd def order from here again, we enjoyed it, and it's great it's not terribly far from us!
Love the place. Nice serving sizes. Family owned and friendly. Wish it was bigger because we've had to wait or get takeout due to no tables available. Thank you for offering great Indian food.
I have eaten plenty of meals at Flavors of India and all have been excellent.
Dinner on Saturday was possibly the best Shrimp Tikka Masala and Vegetable Korma I have tasted in 30 years.
Each produced tantalizing flavors on the front, middle and back of the tongue.
I will be back very soon.
